🎬 New Tutorial: Password Generator (Using Keyboard Maestro)

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a new tutorial for you. In this one, I’m showing you my Password Generator macro, a simple tool for creating secure passwords that are tailored to the production you’re working on.

In the tutorial, I pretend I’m working on Stranger Things and demonstrate the macro using the show’s title, characters, and themes. It’s not an essential macro, but it’s a nice alternative to the completely random strings of numbers, letters, and symbols you usually get from other password generators. This one feels a bit more personal while still staying secure.

In this video, I show you how the macro works and how you can tweak the shell script to suit your own productions. This includes adding your own keywords, changing the password length, removing any numbers, letters or symbols you don’t want in the password, and setting the year to match your production.

You can watch the tutorial on the Password Generator page. If you’re interested in exploring more of my macros, check out the I’ve Got a Macro for That! page. There’s also a contact form on that page if there’s a macro you’d like me to help you build.

If this is your first time importing a Keyboard Maestro macro and you don’t know what you are doing, I have a guide which you can look at if you click here.
